ABOUT
Where Nature Becomes The Classroom
The Branches was founded by myself, Hannah Pellatt, a passionate educator with over a decade of experience in Forest School and early childhood education within the Manchester area.
My journey began in a Nursery setting before progressing to Nursery Manager & then Forest School. ​

For years, I built and ran a highly regarded Forest School for a well-known company in Manchester, which achieved an OUTSTANDING Ofsted rating under my guidance.
​
I then went on to become a fully qualified Level 3 Forest School Leader and Trainer, dedicated to providing outdoor education as a tool for learning and growth.
I have always wanted to provide Outdoor Learning to Children & Schools for myself, but with 2 young children, it can be very daunting. Well, at the end of 2023, I finally took the plunge to create my very own Outdoor Learning Company.
Driven by the dream of creating something of my own that I could be proud of, The Branches was born.

Mission
Our mission is to help create long lasting memories for children of all ages, whether that be through: Sessions at schools, Holiday Club or Teaching Educators.

We want to help keep children outdoors & learning without the need for textbooks, exams & classrooms!
Vision
Just like how Forest School has been adopted countrywide from the Nordic countries like Sweden, Norway etc...we want the UK to become a part of that.

Now, we aren't talking about Brexit or Joining the EU, we are talking about creating a nationwide UK outdoor learning company that ditches the conventional way of children's education.
